Two Icons. One Week in Las Vegas.
The anticipation. The adrenaline. The feeling that stays with you long after the engine stops. Classic Recreations is bringing it all to Las Vegas.
On October 29, at Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, we will unveil the Classic Recreations Shelby GT500CR Carbon and the Classic Recreations 1969 Mustang Boss 429. A week later, both will take the floor at the SEMA Show.
Each begins with an origin that has already earned its place in American performance. Each is advanced through engineering, materials, and craftsmanship. And each is built in rare numbers, for those who understand what these vehicles represent.
We do not recreate the past. We push it beyond its limits. Here is what that looks like.

The Shelby GT500CR Carbon
The 1967 Shelby GT500 set a standard for American performance. The GT500CR Carbon evolves it.
It is the world's only officially Shelby licensed carbon fiber GT500. Every body panel is hand-crafted from aerospace-grade carbon fiber, making a body that is lighter and stronger than the original could ever be. Each car is built under license from Shelby and carries a unique serial number in the Shelby Unified Registry. Its place in the lineage is documented, not implied.
Under the hood sits a Whipple-supercharged, Wegner-built Gen 4X Coyote V8 delivering 1,000 horsepower through a Suncoast 10-speed transmission. A FuelTech standalone engine management system and advanced traction control turn that power into controlled aggression. Detroit Speed chassis engineering and electronically controlled Nitron suspension keep it composed, while Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, Forgeline carbon wheels, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires put it all to the pavement. Inside, handcrafted leather and Shelby-signature gauges complete a cabin finished to the same standard as the bodywork.
It is familiar to many. It will be owned by few.

The 1969 Mustang Boss 429
The original Boss was built with one purpose: to win. It became one of the most respected names of the muscle era.
The Classic Recreations 1969 Mustang Boss 429 honors that origin without being constrained by it. A Whipple-supercharged 7.3-liter Ford Performance Megazilla V8 sends relentless power through a Suncoast 10-speed transmission. The steel body is reworked with period-correct lines over a reinforced chassis, with Detroit Speed chassis engineering, JRI shocks, and Wilwood brakes keeping it planted and controlled, while a carbon-fiber driveshaft and Forgeline wheels sharpen every response. Finished in BASF Glasurit paint and detailed with a handcrafted interior, every surface is resolved with the same precision as our carbon fiber work.
Where the GT500CR Carbon speaks through its materials, the Boss speaks through presence. One look, and the pulse responds before the mind catches up.
